Bronx Metro North Station Plan
Metro-North is coming to the East Bronx. The regional rail service is estimated to arrive in 2027 with four new train stations at Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Morris Park, and Co-Op City. The coming rail service brings a once in a lifetime opportunity to support Bronxites with access to jobs, housing, amenities, and more. The plan will create nearly 7,000 homes, including 1,700 permanently income-restricted affordable housing, as well as 10,000 jobs, all of which will be close to public transit.
